Here are a few screen shots to give you a better idea of the features of the English-Russian Dictionary:

• Overview - The interface is quite simple to use. To find a particular entry, a user either uses the alphabetical index or the search engine. In this example the user used the alphabetical index. You can see the this index in the upper left hand corner. In this case, 'a' was selected. The sub indices appeared on the right. On the bottom left hand is the list of words that are from that sub index page.

• Definition - In this example, the user clicked on the word 'asset' which brought up the entry. Note that every single Russian word has a colored vowel where the stress is located! Also note that this entry (as do quite a fair number of them) contain example sentences.

• Search - Those with a Java-enable browser will be able to use the search engine to find the word they need quickly. Here the user searches for 'asset' and finds two pages with entries that contain that word. Then using the browser’s 'find' feature, the entry for 'asset' was brought up.
